GLOBAL BENEFITS GROUP /TIECARE INTERNATIONAL ANNOUNCES NEW MEMBER SERVICES

Global Benefits Group/TieCare International announces the availability of new services to increase options for claims submission and improve accessibility to member claims information. In response to client requests, the following services will be available to members.

The convenience of these new services is intended to increase the value of the GBG/TieCare health insurance policies for all members, and continue our tradition of responding to members’ needs. Details of these new services administered by International Claims Services (ICS) are provided below.

SCANNED AND FAXED CLAIMS

Members may submit claims of up to USD $500 to ICS by fax or scanned document. The usual rules for submission of claims will apply:

  • Receipt of claims is not automatically acknowledged
  • Claims must be submitted within 180 days of the date of service
  • Claims are processed in the order received
  • Claims must be accompanied by all itemized bills, receipts, diagnosis and doctors notes if applicable
  • An email address must accompany faxed or scanned claims, so that additional information may be requested as needed
  • We retain the right to request original documents for up to 12 months after submission. Members must retain original records for a minimum of 12 months

CLAIMS HISTORY ONLINE

Members can find valuable claims information online. After going to the claimssite.com site, and clicking on claims history, members can

  • Find the status of pending claims
  • Check entire claims history
  • Download or print EOBs
  • Access past claims history
  • Edit their personal data
  • Change their login or password
  • Changes in names, coverage, or dependents, cannot be done online

Use information on the membership card to login. If forgotten, login and password may be emailed to member from request on login screen

Changes to Passwords are recommended every 6 months or so for security reasons

Click on Claims History

Click on Online Instructions
Go back to Claims History to enter Login information
